About Respect Academy of Performance

 

Respect Theatre School Classes are suitable for children and young people aged rising 7 to 18 years.

Melton Academy (Thursdays) and Birstall Academy (Fridays) hold a 3.15 hour session (5.45-9pm). Narborough Academy (Wednesdays) holds a 2.15 hour session (5.15-7.30pm), at the venues listed on our locations page. Classes run throughout the academic year, we do not have classes during Leicestershire School Holidays.

We offer a half price trial class at any of the Senior Girls CloserAcademies during the autumn term ( Dependant on availability of places).

During the session the pupils will be split into working groups, depending on age, experience and content.

Each work group takes classes in Dance, Drama and Singing. At times the whole School will work together on a Dance Routine or Medley. When necessary we may bring all 3 Schools together to work towards a show, depending on Theme and Structure.

Pupils present a large scale SHOW at the end of the academic year.

Occasionally our pupils are invited to perform at Local Events and Celebrations. These have included Street Fayres, Fashion Shows, Christmas Celebrations, Galas and Arts Events. If you are organising a Community or Arts Project please contact us.
